Aug. 07, 2017: St Vincent Ferrar Church, Valencia celebrated "Vanamahotsava" on Saturday August 5. This programme was initiated by ICYM unit of the parish. Resident Priest Fr. Arun Lobo addressed the gathering, he told about the importance of growing trees and how to save cutting of trees in our surroundings.
After the formal function the dignitaries and the unit members planted saplings in the church premises and distributed sapling to the parishioners.
Parish Priest Fr. James D'Souza, Asst. P.P Fr. Naveen Pinto, Resident Priest Fr. Arun Lobo, Parish Council Vice President Mr. Anil Lobo, Secretary Mrs. Lizzie Pinto, Episcopal City Deanery President Frenton D'Souza and Valencia unit President Gordon D'Almeida were present on the occasion.
Valencia ICYM unit Vice-president Sweeny D'Souza welcomed the gathering and Secretary Jovita Rebello delivered the Vote of thanks.
