74th Independence Day and Assumption of our Lady celebrated at Valencia Church

St Vincent Ferrer Church, Valencia celebrated the feast of Assumption of Our Lady and India's 74th Independence Day at the church grounds after the morning mass.

At 6.30am Holy mass was celebrated by Asst Parish Priest Fr Lancy D’Souza,Fr. William Barrocas con-celebrated.

Flag hoisting ceremony was held after the mass.The Chief guest for the ceremony was Mrs Naina Fernandes,Secretary of Ladies Club, Mangalore. After hoisting the flag addressing the gathering she recalled her good old days how she celebrated Independence Day.She urged the people to stay in harmony in the society.
