Nov 3, 2023 : Mission Sunday is a special day in the Catholic Church dedicated to promoting missionary activities and raising funds for missions around the world. It falls on the third Sunday in October and encourages Catholics to support and pray for missionaries and their work.

In order to support these missionaries a fund raising program mission pork bafat was held at Valencia church on 1st November 2023. Parishioners came together and helped in cooking this special dish. After cooking the dish was kept for sale. Pork Bafat was sold for ₹500 and Idly ₹50 per pack.
